ZE/D01 - Bridge

[Ava Baldwin]

Midshipman Ava Baldwin arrived on the bridge and walked to stand to the right of the Command area, where she could be noticed and not get in the way of the bridge functions. Her first impression of the bridge was that it was old, a lot older than anything she had seen at the Academy. There was no emotion in Ava; the Zephyr was old, a fact.

The young Vulcan also overheard an attractive woman with piercing eyes speaking about some 'preparation' and 'checking in.'


She wasn't sure which of the bridge crew was the Captain or the First Officer, though she assumed that the officer sitting to the right of the Command Chair could be the Chief Engineer / First Officer. There were several on the bridge wearing the command red, but she had not noticed anyone with the Captain's insignia.

So Midshipman Baldwin stood at ease, waiting to be summoned or for a lull in the activity so she could approach the command area, introduce herself and hand in her transfer orders.

There came a moment, and Ava took it to present herself to the officer with piercing eyes.

"Command, I am Midshipman Ava Baldwin reporting for duty, sir. Here are my transfer orders," and she presented a pad that contained the orders for the Commander to take.
