The music died down as well as the party, the remaining crewmembers at the party were finishing their drinks, talking softly in small groups or filing out the mess hall to their quarters. A’kilees hadn’t danced that much in a while and felt quite worn out from the affair.
“What was that about drinks, A’kilees?” Izzy asked. “Were you thinking tonight or some other time? I’m game for either. It’s a little early, but you know we could plan something when everyone doesn’t have a shift the next day.”
A’kilees was quite pleased Isabel had brought that up from earlier.
“Well, Charlotte asked what we did for fun earlier, one of the things I like to do is mix drinks *grawk* and I’m not talking synthahol either. I’ve been meaning to have some people over since I arrived.” he explained with a reptilian smile. “We can plan for another time for sure! Let me know when you're all free? Please be sure to pass that invitation along to Charlotte too.”
