Keir listened to the planning from hir officers and s/he was glad to have such a talented and determined team working on the problem.
Both hir junior Engineer and the Science Middie were proving themselves and working with the senior officers present. That despite Mid Cortez's issues with the tight quarters and in response to that s/he laid a steadying hand on his shoulder hoping to encourage him to get through it. There was little time to work things out but s/he chose instead to run with what was being suggested.
"It looks like my Midshipman has the situation well in hand, so let’s maneuver into the best position to begin the cutting of the hull. Lieutenant O'Fee, keep a tight scan on our targets and Lieutenant Gath, the suggestion to have yourself and my Engineer approach first seems appropriate. You will keep our pilot informed of any necessary alterations in our approach while Midshipman A’kilees confirms what we believe is the condition of the pods.
Once we have that data the cutting them free can then begin, but acting with some prudence assures that we retain other options should the initial belief in the physical viability of them proves incorrect.
Any questions or concerns?"
