It took her a few minutes to return to Ten Forward from the Science labs, and almost instantly noticed Alex in the same place that she left him then noticed Jonas as well. As Beno was about to go past him again, it was a deliberate rout to see him again. "I am going to join you again in the minute, a certain topic has re surfaced again." She said with a hand on his shoulder, with a small pat on the shoulder she left and joined Jonas for a small talk.
"Jonas I am glad to see you better than the last time we met, that image will be burned in the memory of every host that follows this one." Beno started just taking a second to receive the hot coffee. "I wanted you to hear this directly from me, out of what I seen as the greater good for the children and by proxy you. I was vocal in making sure your family didn't get up here, we both know the deal from Star Fleet and I didn't want to risk it." The next part Beno wanted to think it through a little more. "I have also made a deal with the President to have your day in court, there are a few things they need cleared up. I am sure there is evidence that will clear your name, and it was the best way I could think of to keep your family whole." There was something more that she needed cleared up.
"I also don't have the sole authority to authorize nor reject them being here, even if its for a ride to go on vacation." Holding the message in her hand. "I have no reservations about trusting what I have read in here, there is a couple of things I need to hear directly from you." She gave him a second to absorb the information. "There is only one way I can sign off on this and sleep at night." Again this was something that she wanted him to hear directly from her.
"Cindy I am recommending that Jonas here gets put on medical supervision for the next twelve to forty-eight hours in the V.I.P. quarters. We want to make sure that the transplant isn't going to be rejected, all while under the supervision of his family. I would recommend to use this time for one last pleasant memory before you know what hits the fan. I also need to hear directly from you that you have considered all the potential consequences of this, prolonged absence even temporary can be hard on the children. I need to know you have a plan for that, its just to ease my mind before I present it to the Captain." Beno was expecting to hear President Khushku was going to join them at any time, so this was going to have to be done fast.
