A’kilees was still scanning through transporter frequencies when Gath addressed him. He hadn’t received a communications reply from the Zephyr yet but was sure that the transporter room engineers were meticulously triangulating the transporter buffers to accommodate for all the pods and for the potential emergency transport of all present personnel as per his earlier request. It made sense to allocate that task to the Zephyr crew and to personally make sure that the pods could be released and maintain functionality after being removed and transported over.
[Acknowledged Lieutenant, still waiting on confirmation from the Transporter Room. I’ll see if Midshipman Cortez needs assistance after I’ve completed my assesment.]
As the klingon officer released his magnetic boots and floated away to retrieve the nearby data module, A’kilees took a few steps past the pods and stood next to the calm and collected Evie and began tricorder scanning up and down the central pillar and the nearest cryopod to assess the systems control process, the release procedures and for potential release alternatives for the other pods.
== Tag and GM Input: Status on transporting the cryopods and away team? Once the power is restored to the pillar and the critical pods regain their charge, is it then safe to disconnect the cryopods from the system and transport them onto the Zephyr? Alternatively, can the stable pods be individually removed from the cryo support system and be immediately transported? Or does the release system require that all pods need to be powered and be released simultaneously? ==
