Cadet T'Varel strode confidently through the hallway leading to the auditorium. For four long years she had spent every night studying and preparing for exams and field tests. Finally all of that hard work would pay off. T'Varel took a long inhale of air before letting it out in a short burst of excitement and anticipation. She was ready for the final exam. Before doubt and fear could cloud her mind, she walked into the auditorium.
She arrived at the admissions desk in seconds. Fortunately, there was only a short line of Cadets waiting for their assignments. Around 15 minutes later, she moved to the front of the line and was greeted by the smiling face of the officer on duty.
Raising her hand into a salute, T'Varel proudly announced, "Cadet T'Varel reporting for duty."
