Beno knew that Alex would figure out what she was doing, most parents would. She knew exactly what was started, and exactly what to do next. As she started to pet Thor on the head, she had a smile. They did go astray for a minute, but soon went on point.
Beno had an amused voice as she started to speak. "Out of the imaginations... I am pretty sure you are still a few years away from needing firearm training." She took a second to recompose. "Actually Thor is the perfect dog for this, the children have never seen one before and I am not sure how they would react around a real one." They might be afraid of dogs for all she knew.
"Unless we are going to war because chocolate ice-cream is better than strawberry, or the banana split is the best thing to happen to ice-cream I am sure there is nothing to worry about." Beno closed her eyes for a second and opened again, she gently got up from her seat. "You see my little Ambassador the main idea is to give the children something fun to do, that way their parents can have some grownup talk. They need to talk together for a little while while their children do something fun, after that they can talk about it with their children." Beno knew it was time to get back to it, she was due on the bridge.
"If you will pardon me, I need a small talk with the Captain." She gave Thor one last pat on the head before leaving.
