A’kilees’ view began to change as the dark interior of the Broken Arrow began to fade away as the bright blueish haze of the transporter began to envelop him. He quickly peered around at his team members and the pods to confirm that they also were also surrounded by the same blue light of the transporter teleportation. A wave of comfort came over him as he knew that the pattern enhancers had done the trick. Finally, they were on their way back towards the Zephyr.
It was always an intrguing yet strange comforting sensation for the saurian; that brief moment of consciousness between immaterial and materialization during the phasing process of the transporter. It had been one of the reasons why he had specialized in transporter technology while studying as an engineering cadet back at the Academy. Others on the crew had previously expressed their discomfort with the technology during his brief time on the Zephyr but their concerns had no effect on him. This marvelous piece of technology had saved them and the lives of these strange new aliens they had encountered.
The blue energy haze slowly began to fade and soon the bright and familiar sights of the Zephyr’s Sickbay came into view. A'kilees felt himself drop slightly to find a foothold on the floor and was suddenly hit with a moment of disorientation accompanied with the sound of loud heavy bags as the cryopods fell to the floor after rematerialization. Suddenly coming from a zero gravity environment to the artificial gravity of the ship left the saurian slightly bewildered, surely the other members of the away crew would be experiencing the same effects. Hastely removing his helmet and letting it drop to the floor, he took a few deep breaths and watched the room swayed as if he was in a drunken haze but it took but a second for A’kilees to orient himself and relatively get his bearings.
The members of the away crew were righting themselves after their quick transport from the crumbling vessel. Finding himself next to Ra’an, he assisted her to get her oriented before assessing the current situation of the cyropods. The pods all lying on the floor appeared intact, the ones that had received a temporary boost from Cortez’s hotwire solution however were still signaling low power with their amber light still flashing, their magnetic fields were still failing and there probably wasn’t much time left by the looks of it.
I need a proper drink and some sleep after this. the saurian thought to himself as he stumbled past his Orion superior and towards the pods in question. He quickly assessed his options around the Sickbay to restore power to them.

== GM Input: Where is the closest energy port in the Sickbay that A’kilees can link the failing pods to restore the charge? Reroute from a nearby wall panel? From the biobeds? Thanks. ==
