Once Amila had steadied herself she gave a quick nod to A'kilees before she watched him rush off to work on the power for the stasis pods. Amila carefully adjusted her own helmet, taking it off of care, eager to breathe in the familiar air of the Zephyr and get out of the suit, but not so eager as to give her body yet another jolt as the air released and the pressure adjusted.
Amila quickly assessed the situation in Sickbay. Cortez was her responsibility, but Dr. O'Fee had already assumed his care and was tending to him. Gath had the black box, and A'kilees was working on the power supply. Amila looked around for a free shelf or table and found a place to leave her helmet and gloves. Her red hair was sticky with sweat, clinging to the sides of her face. She shed her gloves and brushed the hair away from her forehead, the droplets glistening against her green skin. She reached for her tricorder and went for one of the stasis pods that was away from where the engineer was examining his options.
Amila pulled out her tricorder and tried to get a reading on the life signs inside the chamber.
"Commander Keir!"
Amila called out, beckoning to the first officer, "Since you were able to get a lock on these pods, maybe the transporter buffers have some more information these people. What kind of health they might be in. Do you think someone from the Bridge might be able to tap us in while we wait to see what we can get from the computer?"
Amila was looking at Keir when He walked in. She fought to keep her attention focused on Keir. The task she'd put herself in motion to do. The Captain seemed immediately distracted by helping A'kilees, so if her attention had waivered, hopefully he wouldn't have noticed. There were better times, better places.
Or maybe there weren't.
But that had yet to be determined.
She turned back to Keir and waited for further instructions and information. Amila was disappointed she didn't get a chance to examine the ship and it's systems, but was hopeful that they would be able to communicated with its people - and it's computer.

==And GM input - Mainly back to Powl / or computer / transporter buffer information to relay information to Keir if we have anything relevant to Amila's question==
