We suspect that it will contain logs that might be critical in allowing the ship's computer to integrate the information to form a translation matrix to communicate with them. We can only hope that there will be other useful data there as well."
He then held it out to her. Once she took the module, he said, "Computer, stand by with emergency containment protocols in the event any pod opens prematurely. Maximize for safety and full containment." There was a chirp of acknowledgement.
