When A'kilees mentioned a dentist, Gath grinned, "You might need to make an appointment for a cleaning after this." He then gave another pat on the shoulder to him and added, "Well done!"
A tap to his comm badge and Gath quickly ordered a couple of armed security to Sickbay. They reported almost instantly and were instructed that they were to report to the CMO and keep an eye on their guests. Gath would arrange for relief and there would be regular shift rotations until further notice.
At handing off the module to Lt Ra'an, he simply thanked her and let her get to work. He then took a moment to say to Cortez, in a more hushed tone, "You did well. Only a fool says they do not know fear. A true warrior faces his fears. Today, you did that and were victorious. It is my experience that it tends to get easier over time."
Gath didn't want to dwell on the topic, so he went about trying to finish securing the cables and such so that there was minimal risk to the crew.
