He opened the can of beer and took a sip before quickly swallowing what was in his mouth, remembering now what he was missing.
“Oh! Uh, yes, yes, I do prefer Tes. Um…”
He gestured vaguely to the bench with his other hand as he set the can back down.
“You’re welcome to have a seat.”
