As Mid A'kilees ran his diagnostic on the main engineering systems, the LCARS display confirmed Ens Singer's on-the-spot assessment. The main EPS tap in Sickbay was designed with massive redundancies to support life-saving surgical forcefields and high-intensity lasers. It was easily handling the steady, continuous power draw from the twelve alien stasis pods. The grid was stable, and the threat of catastrophic power failure had passed.

However, the diagnostic did highlight one minor, lingering issue requiring the Saurian's attention. While the raw amount of power was well within safety margins, the continuous, unbroken flow of that energy was creating a slow heat buildup in the secondary plasma relays running along Deck 5, directly beneath Sickbay. It was not an immediate danger, but over the next forty hours of their warp journey to the Veld system, those relays would eventually overheat and degrade.

To fully secure the ship, A'kilees needed to execute two final tasks. First, he had to manually recalibrate the coolant flow distribution to the Deck 5 relays to compensate for the thermal buildup. Second, he needed to program the industrial replicators in Main Engineering to fabricate a new, customized casing for Sickbay's surgical arch, ensuring that Dr. O'Fee wouldn't have exposed, high-voltage wiring hanging over her primary bio-bed indefinitely. However, utilizing the industrial replicators for such a significant fabrication required the explicit approval of the ship's Chief Engineer.
