Alex raised an eyebrow as Jason made his exit, then turned to Beno and said, "Prison?"
Pulling out his small PADD again, he tapped a few keys on it, then stuck it back in his pocket. "I'm taking a minor precaution. I'll have him monitored by a small stealth drone. Cindy will let me know if he gets into anything serious enough that it requires intervention or assistance. When I was a kid, my parents wanted me to make friends. That's how I ended up with Cindy. We'll see. Cindy will fill me in, if nothing else."
He then took a sip of his drink and settled back down to enjoy his meal maybe the rest of his date. He gave Beno a warm smile and was enjoying looking at her in a bit of a different light tonight. Life was certainly full of surprises.
