Izzy was quiet at her station for the most part, the seriousness of the situation that the ship was dealing with had changed the mood on the ship. The usual chatter on the Bridge was gone, and the crew only seemed to speak when they had pertinent information or a request. The Captain had been in the Ready Room for some time now, various senior officers off and on the Bridge. The Chief Science Officer was currently talking to Lieutenant Powl, but even she seemed in a hurry to get back to her work.
While Izzy was trying to overhear the conversation between Powl and Ra'an her station alerted with a Priority One message from Starfleet Command. She opened the message, and alerted the current conn officer of its contents.
"Lieutenant Powl," Izzy began, "Starfleet Command had indicated that we are to continue our current heading toward Deep Space Nine. They are sending a heavy cruiser and a science vessel for intercept. They want us to have the stasis pods and data module prepared for transfer. Time for intercept is -8 hours."
Amila snapped her had toward Molina at the information. Did this mean that the Faraday Cage was on hold, or would Ameen want them to keep trying to get in?
She started to ask the petty officer if the message said anything else, but then remembered that Torok had the conn. Chain of Command. She needed orders from Ameen. She couldn't pretend she hadn't just heard what was relayed. .
Amila turned to Torok expectantly, waiting for his next move.
