Carley was enjoying her time with Cindy, they had a lot of common ground. They both look out for what and who they care for with everything that they have, the two people they care about were currently together. From this vantage point Carley notice of what was going on, it really must have been what they were talking about earlier. From what she seen there was a giant shared experience, it was everything Cindy described from what Carley could tell.
"I might be wrong but I believe Beno just had the experience you had described, from here it seems like she enjoyed it like you said." Carley had a smile until it faded a little. If I am right the process drained her a little more, mentally she was already exhausted going in to this party." Carley was thinking it though a little more.
Her eyes went wide for a second. "There is something you should know about, something that we keep quiet from most people." Carley looked around to make sure no one was listening. "When Beno is tired she sleep walks a little, usually confined to quarters. When exhausted like it appears she is now, it would be hard to tell the difference of being awake and asleep. If you see her walking don't be surprised if she calls you by my name, I normally tell Beno that her experiment will take time to finalize. Direct her back to bed telling her it will be a few more hours, that works more often then not."
The problem now started to be that Carley never seen her this exhausted before. "I have a feeling that this is going to be a long night, I think a new strategy might be in order." Carley started to giggle a little as if she realized something for the first time. "One of the big reasons I spent a lot of time in her personal quarters ever since becoming Chief Science Officer, and possibly why people thought we were a couple." Fortunately the worst thing that ever happened was waking up in the science lab, and the result was a stiff neck.
