Despite the shrug, Mara was amenable to the idea of them staying for a drink before returning to the BBQ, her reasoning for accepting made sense to Aeryn, although it seemed as though Mara was reluctant to be the one to fetch the drinks. The explanation and her admission of guilt didn't surprise the redhead, and if a couple of broken tiles had helped to alleviate some of her frustration over what had happened, then it was better than the Bandaran hurting herself or anyone else. " Sure, although I'm sure a couple of broken tiles, won't get you barred because if the stories are to be believed they've had much worse happen".
Those stories also depended on who was telling them at the time, but Aeryn doubted Grey or Mitchell for that matter would make it up, and yet nothing seemed to faze the pair, unless it was personal or one of them was in danger. Coming back to the present, Aeryn wasn't sure she liked the guilty expression on Mara's face, however she hoped she had managed to reassure her and lessen whatever she was feeling about the tiles. Mara then decided on what she wanted to drink as she took the seat opposite, and Aeryn made a mental note of it.
" Got it, they've got some great local ones, be back in a minute".
Leaving Mara to place their order, Aeryn approached the bar, opting for one of the local fruit ciders for herself, and a cloudy lemonade for Mara along with a couple of packet of crisps. Figuring it wouldn't hurt to have a snack while they drank and talked. Returning soon after carrying a small tray with their drinks and crisps, Aeryn set it down on the table.
" Here you go, and I also got us some crisps".
