Ardanna had arrived back on Artemis the previous evening after spending most of her leave with the exception of a few days in Grasmere catching up with her brother and friends. Arman had made the trip specially, stating that The Raven could manage without him for a week, and his younger sister didn't doubt that for a second. What he hadn't mentioned was how Lucian had likely forced Arman to take time off, not that the brunette was going to get the truth out of him.
The week with her brother, hearing all of the gossip, exploring Sweden, their ancestral home and just being around one another again was absolute bliss, and Ardanna would admit it was hard to say goodbye. Thankfully Christian and her friends from the Academy helped her feel better and so did the Hawaiian hospitality.
So much so that there was some reluctance to leave, but at the same time Ardanna was ready to get back to normal. That also meant returning to her usual regime of regular workouts to ensure she was at peak fitness and prepared mentally and physically for wherever the ship went next. With her duty shift not due to start till later, Ardanna had gone straight to gym, dressed in navy shorts and a tank top. Her long hair had been tied up in a high ponytail to keep it out of her way. She also sported ear buds and was currently listening to some old Earth pop music while using the kettlebell occasionally pausing to take a drink from her water bottle.
