While Jez was preparing the meal, Andrea walked over, "You peel the carrots? I always leave them on, as with potatoes. There is so much flavor in the skins that I never take them off if it can be avoided. Medically speaking, most of the vitamins and nutrition are found in the skins. Have you ever tried your recipe that way?"
As they talked, Andrea reached over and picked up a slice to nibble on.
