The entire time that Jez and Mike were struggling through their moment, Andrea silently walked around, appearing to be oblivious to them while she refilled her tea and checked on the final dinner preparations, much like a motherly figure of the family. This continued until they had managed to cry themselves out a bit and came to a relatively calm moment of holding each other and catching their breath. It was only then that Andrea felt the shift in the room and walked over to stand in front of them, looking on, like a satisfied parent might view children she was proud of, "See Mike, I sent word that Jez was sorry and needed you. She didn't really mean those things, she was just hurting. Jez, I told you that Mike would understand and would never abandon you and that he would be back. You two are family. Just as you've shared everything else, you will always share this loss as well. Take strength from that bond with each other."
She took another sip of her tea before saying, "So, is anyone else going to eat some of this delicious food, or am I going to eat alone?"
