Andrea smiled at mike and replied, "I'm only referencing a bear in the same context of you yourself comparing to a bear, or any such creature. It is not for another to determine what animal most suits another person, that's a very personal thing. Though in fairness, I suppose I would have to say that I am a bit like Odin's ravens. I have the ability to see into the hearts, minds and dreams of mankind. With that comes a great responsibility, but I don't think today is a day to talk about that. Simply know that I would not make fun of you about something so important to you."
She turned to Jez and gave a sympathetic look, "Relax, Jez. I'm just reminding you both that you're still living and breathing people. These moments make us examine our mortality, but they should also make us grateful for what we have while we have it." Andrea glanced at mike and then said with a sly grin, "Are you trying to get rid of me so you don't have to share that Kransekake? Don't worry, I'll only have a small piece. I wouldn't want it to go to my hips, It's hard enough to stay in shape at my age."
Returning her attention to Mike, she said, "You neither bore me, nor do you offend me. However, as I see it might be met with hurt feelings if I did not at least partake of some Kransekake, we will enjoy some before I depart. I would be a poor guest if I refused such hospitality."
