They enjoyed their cake, tehn Jez wanted to show off her baby in a bottle. On the one hand, it was understandable that she was keeping her options open, but Andrea felt unsure about the decision. She knew that she should say nothing, but she had come to help, so she had to at least give food for thought.
"Jez, what's your plan? You decided to halt the pregnancy, though there was no emergency. You despise the man you made this possible child with and are in a legal fight with. I don't question the outcome of the legal fight, but if you decide not to continue with the pregnancy, they will win custody by default, even if you win. Thus, if you have second thoughts, it is best to decide before a legal order is made that says you are not allowed to stop it. I'm not pushing anything pro or con here, I'm just saying you seem to be undecided and you really need to make a decision sooner rather than later. If you meet someone tomorrow, but they want to have kids and you say you have one on ice that comes first, you can see where that would create a conflict that is different than if you have a live child in your care and are a single mother. Professionally, you will never find a good time for such a life altering moment, so you need to simply find a time that is a lesser evil. It's one of the reasons I never got married. I almost did, but almost doesn't count. I always wanted kids, but didn't want to do it alone. They are very difficult decisions, but I urge you to figure out what you want while it is within your hands to decide, that's all."
