A’kilees entered the holodeck following Commander Ameen, Lieutenant Ra’an and Sebastian, both of them quickly briefing the two officers on their recent language breakthrough in the science labs. Unfortunately, the saurian personally felt he could have had some more answers to rather obvious burning questions the crew members might have but they had left so quickly after their successful translation that he nor Sebastian had been able to extrapolate any relevant information but chose not to vocalize his disappointments.
It had been a while since A’kilees had been in the holodeck, he would come occasionally on his down time to interactively render his ship designs and work on his own holographic programs but hadn’t had time to fully spend time in any of them with his full schedule nor with the current situation. The pod of the chosen individual was already waiting upon a rendered platform when they arrived. Lieutenant Gath and Doctor O’Fee were already present and getting prepared for the opening of the cryopod. A large illuminated amber panel emanated from the pod revealing a message.
[WARNING: UMBILICAL SEVERED. AUTOMATIC REVIVAL PROTOCOL INITIATED.]
[T-MINUS 15 MINUTES TO DE-STASIS.]
It seemed that the program was integrated and working well with Zephyr's universal translator system, however that wasn’t a lot of time and A’kilees knew that a lot could happen in that duration. He turned towards his commanding officer.
“Pardon me Commander, I hope that the explanation was enough. If you’ll please excuse me.” said A’kilees apologetically and made his way quickly over to the cryopod next to Gath and Evie with his tricorder and began scanning the pod to make sure that there weren’t any anomalous readings or errors that would cause any problems with the revival process.
