"To the last, that was I think what humans call, metaphorical. You're welcome to wear Klingon armour and call yourself my apprentice,”
Papaver's eyebrows rose at the suggestion. During their last mission, when they had all shared the fractured time distortion where they all seemed to take on personas of a former crew, she had become Klingon. And the mention of the armour sparked the memory. And her interest.
“But I think the Captain might take issue with me waiving ship discipline. As for holodeck programs not being real enough, I think you can help me in that regard."
The young woman leant forward now, intrigued.
“I came from a world where survival and strength are valued above many other aspects.” Said Beinn. “ And frankly, I think that most of the programs I've tried to design are stale, hollow, or otherwise, dull. So, would you be able to help me design a program that evokes the need for survival, without having to turn off the holodeck safeties? For some reason, the Federation is not like the Klingon Empire, and doesn't like people disabling the safeties."
A small spark of her normally prevalent smile flashed briefly at the idea. But not fully.
"And, I don't think you'll need your uniform to help me with designing that program."
But then, the full flash appeared.
“But how's a girl supposed to get in the mind set of a warrior without some tight leather armour?”
