Reyna blushed as Dean did remember her and she spoke as she watched them dance, "Yes, not everyone wants to get help from a kid and I understand that. I know that I'm different, but thanks for trying to understand. The technology is based on some of my dad's work, but I wrote these programs. Mine is actually based on real projections of what I will be like when my body catches up." She gave a sigh and looked down, "I have no idea about the timeline, but my body has decided to hit a major growth spurt. It's one thing to know what is going on technically, but nobody prepared me for the growing pains. You guys are tall, so that had to hurt doing that much growing. Right now, everything hurts and feels stiff. I understand the medical processes, but it doesn't change the reality." As an afterthought, she chuckled, "Oh, but the Trill spots aren't me, I just really like them. That's the part of this that's pretend for me. Thanks for letting me tag along."
She watched them dance and mentally recorded some of the moves for her to try later. Her attention was drawn to the tiny struggles of where to put their hands at times, especially as their minds wandered. It actually made her feel more normal, knowing that she wasn't the only one who was trying to figure things out. She grinned to herself as she realized that this was part of the value of truely socialising with other people. They were social creatures, her included.
