Sebastian immediately halted the transmission as the Captain had ordered. He was filled with excitement; he really wanted to know everything about these people, their art, their music, their literature, and their culture in general. He wanted to know their History, what was their mission?
Sebastian’s eyes widened when the Captain said, "Lieutenant Ra'an, you and the Midshipmen will head to the Science Labs. Prepare a terminal with the unclassified sensor sweeps of the debris field and the data from the flight recorder for Apex Prime to review. Let's get him his answers."
“Aye, Lieutenant, right away.” Replied Sebastian.
Sebastian gathered up his equipment. He wasn’t sure exactly how they were going to get “Answers.” They were operating under a great deal of uncertainty. They couldn’t even be sure the Apex Predators even understood what they were saying with the Musical Algorithm that he and A’kilees created, for they knew the crew of the Zephyr was speaking in gibberish. Oh, there was the possibility that they may have stumbled on a random word or phrase.
Sebastian had to wonder if the Apex Predators realized that they were trying to communicate. They wouldn’t really understand until they got to the lab.
