Ameen paused just as the familiar, high-pitched hum of the transporter sequence began to energize the air around him. He caught Lieutenant Ra'an's eye and gave her a firm, decisive nod.
"Agreed, Lieutenant. It's a sound tactical split," Ameen replied over the rising whine of the confinement beam. He shifted his gaze to the Saurian engineer. "Midshipman A'kilees, get to Sickbay and prep that terminal. We need those answers the second Science finds them."
With a final glance at the remaining away team, the shimmering light of the transporter fully enveloped Ameen, Lieutenant Gath, and the towering form of Apex Prime, whisking them away from the simulated park and leaving the Science team to their critical task.
