While their roles were different, they were all connected to keep things running smoothly, to be at your absolute best regardless of the situation you found yourself in. Security had been her calling, a natural progression thanks to the awful experience she'd endured, but it hadn't prevented her from using her other skills either. The brunette was grateful for that as Lucy spoke about why Geology had interested her, how it harked back to her childhood, and how it was the same for Ju.
It was likely a similar story for all of them, as Hally put it more eloquently, stating how it never started at the Academy, and the pilot was right; for Ardanna, it had begun in the engineering room long before the attack had shaped her differently.
