Tes saw the monitor and froze. He didn’t pull his hands away or physically react, other than a blank look, but his antennae shot up straight and quivered once in horror. He finally pulled his hands away and thought, deeply.
His heart raced and his stomach turned into knots, but he wouldn’t let himself break down. Not here, not now.

He placed the scalpel down on the tray and gestured for Nurse Adhya to join him aside.
"How's it looking, Doc?" There was a nervousness in Ejid's voice.
“Just a minor setback. We’ll be right with you,” Tes replied, trying to keep a certain tone, although in reality, he was trying not to panic.
