“Well maybe next leave we’ll do something together then,” Ju said with a conspiratorial nudge.
“Be careful. I jus' might take ya up on it,” Mara replied with an easy grin.
At that point the Security Chief’s food arrived, two enormous burritos covered in cheese. She sighed happily as the plate was placed in front of her and wasted no time getting stuck in.
"I'm glad you're back too," Hally said simply, meeting Mara's eyes for a moment. "I think the Artemis - everyone here, is better for having you here."

Burritos were not something that could be eaten discretely but the Bandaran did her best, holding up the plate to her mouth to try and hide the worst of the sound effects as she wolfed down both. And few on the crew got as hangry as she did, something she was very keen to avoid around friends.
Mara was wiping her hands on the napkins when Ju raised her glass, the others joining in.
"Okay, let's do a toast! To new friends, coworkers, and to exciting new lives!"
"And to finding home in unexpected places."
"To all of that and more."
Calleja held up her coffee mug.
“To acceptance, an’ new horizons,” she said.
