She elaborated on differences that were for private eyes, to which he grinned and nodded, looking down briefly, "Yes, well once a person gets into that sort of territory, there are often very unique things that set them apart. They vary from tattoo placement and birth marks to details of a more...intimate nature. When in close proximity, I can almost always depend on my nose giving me hints as well. Things like favorite foods and the products used to care for skin and hair are quite diverse and can make it easy at times." His grin widened and he tilted his head a little, "Of course, if you're going to discuss significant others, then you can't omit the fact that no two people kiss the same."
When Evie confessed that if they got out of hand, it would likely involve drinking, he chuckled and nodded, "I've known more than a few of my own family members that would easily fall into that category. I will make note of it and try to prepare accordingly. I may have acquired a taste for finer forms of drink, but I was also raised with some of the harshest and most foul concoctions known in the galaxy, and from an early age. No family gathering was complete without a great deal of drinking and at least a couple of fights. My parents hated that part of certain celebrations, but they had to endure at least some of it and needed me to understand that aspect of Klingon culture. I shared their desire for the finer things in life and favored art and science, but I needed to be able to handle myself in all situations. I find that some of the most creative and artistic people are also the most...um...colorful in their free time. I find that to be creative, you need to be able to express yourself well and that sometimes a person's cup might overflow now and then, but it is far preferred to the alternative of having a cup that is often dry or lacking."
There was a devilish aspect to his grin as he added, "I'll do my best not to inhibit your long awaited reunion."
