Beno understood where Daniel was coming from, it was just one of those things that come with the chair. She just didn't want to give him anymore grief than he already had. "Don't worry Captain I understand." She was happy to see Alex join them on the Bridge, they exchanged glances. Beno had a smile while greeting him back. "Commander." It wasn't a smile any different than she would have for the rest of the crew.
Both Alex and her knew Daniel enough to know when he was under pressure, both didn't want to add to the pressure. His briefing for the crew really did put it into perspective for her. They were going into a battle situation meaning Jason was going to have to leave the ship, it was a risk both were well aware of. "Alex I believe both of us would feel better if both were together, it would give all of us peace in mind knowing they are looking out for each other." It was unusual for Beno to talk about anything personal on the Bridge, this one was the most understandable. Reyna would be able to help Jason understand these things, she had been through it before where Jason hasn't. Jason would also have the natural instinct to stick close to Reyna, just for the sake of making sure she was ok.
Even if there was a couple of ways that Beno would need to form an away mission, Beno knew the top two names that were going to be needed was Mala and Thorn. They might have to go onto another ship for some kind of rescue, or evacuation. In her mind it was just a few plans of action ready to put into action, it was when they get there she will know what one to put into place. Sickbay was going to have to be ready for high amounts of traffic, Beno was going to make sure they had the level of help they needed. The only true upside right now was the fact they had a lot of time to prepare, Beno had plans not to waste a single minute of it.
