Alex turned to Jez, his expression softening a bit, "Hey Jez!" He took a deep breath and let it out, clearing his mind a bit as he cleared his lungs. "I appreciate the offer, but we have a set plan in place for such moments. In this case, my plans include Thor escorting and piloting them, if needed, and linking up with the Valkyries. Once in their hands, the kids will be in the safest place they could possibly be. I hadn't figured Mike into the equation. Sorry about that. Mike seemed like a good guy. The Captain began giving orders to the Bridge Crew and Alex said to Jez, "I need to go. Duty calls. Be careful Jez, this could get sticky."
Alex then returned his attention to Beno, "I'll send over the material I was already going over from Intel about force strength, ship names and crew speculations. I have my people working on possible reconfigurations for stealth probes, but will get with Engineering to see if we can give us an edge in possible engagements. I'll send someone up here to cover Bridge."
Just then, Carley Young showed up on the Bridge. "Ah, perfect timing. Take over the Science station. I need to talk with Engineering."
They exchanged a nod and got to work. Alex headed for the Turbolift.
