The one thing the sensors recorded that definitively could aid Tactical, was that the Hutet was generating a vast amount of power. Far more than intelligence reports, or the very few engagements where Starfleet vessels survived long enough to make scans, suggested.
Finding the source of that power would be the key to overcoming the Dreadnought, but its power plant was buried beneath primary and secondary shields, which appeared to be of a regenerative nature, plus several meters of battle armour.

Deep Space Nine did not respond to any signals. Whether they were unable or unwilling to respond would be a mystery for solving later.
For a moment, the Zephyr went undetected; she was just another piece of interstellar flotsam. The moment the Zephyr's sensors went active to establish a weapons lock, however, it broadcast its position and status to everyone in the immediate vicinity like an old-style neon sign. While the Hutet was still turning away, now burning from several small impact sites having suffered further damage from the Yeager's torpedo barrage and improvised minefield, her weapons coverage was almost complete, and fire control systems immediately began to lock up the Zephyr. Given how quickly they had torn a Sovereign-class to pieces, the Zephyr's survival time under the attention of a full Dreadnought broadside could be measured in nanoseconds.
To add insult to future injury, the three Hidekis were now turning to face the immediate threat to their flagship.
