[Raven to A'kilees, I need you to stop whatever you're doing and glue your face to a panel that can manage the warp coil cooling system up there. Begin augmenting the cryogenics now and manage the heat the best you can. The more you can stay ahead of it, the better it will be. If it hits the red line, you still have about 10% grace before it will overpressure and start venting. If we start venting, we start losing cooling capability. Two jumps isn't double heat, it works exponentially. The rest is all you, kid. Good luck.]

He was confident that Raven knew what to do in Engineering but doing such a maneuver would definitely create a tremendous amount of heat very quickly.
Looking carefully over the display, the saurian observed the current gas levels that would be fed into the core. If a multiple warp jump were to be possible, it would require a certain fluctuating amount of coolant at different points of the maneuver. Applying too little coolant and the excessive heat would melt the warp core resulting in a massive explosion comparable to the USS Inaieu, too much coolant and the core would abruptly shut down causing cryofractures leaking the gas into Engineering and similar decks in a flash freeze along with an equally destructive detonation.
Whatever the case, A'kilees began to program the console for manual adjustment of the warp cooling system so that the Zephyr’s maneuver would be successful to immediately engage in combat with the Cardassian fleet afterwards. He began to feel more anxious as he waited for the commanders mark to warp.
