Given the circumstances there wasn't a place that Ava wanted to be more, her sister was facing danger and now so was Ava. When the call came out for volunteers to go to the Zephyr, the Captain wanted her to stay but didn't stand in the way because he understood her reasons. Soon after going to the station her first orders were heard. "Ra'an, Ava, the instant their shields flare, sweep that dreadnought with every passive and active sensor array we have. Gather every scrap of power-grid telemetry, shield modulation, and core oscillation data you can pull."
Not looking back Ava said. "Aye Captain." Activating every sensor like ordered, Ava was looking for every bit of information that she could get, she was looking for the power-grid telemetry, shield modulation and core oscillation she could find. One more thing Ava was looking for in this was heat, the Cardassians like things at thirty two degrees Celsius. That was hot enough for the equipment, if they had ventilation into space Ava wanted to find it. Then she would run an idea by Ra'an, attacks focused in those areas would disable the ventilation one way or another.
While she was gathering that information she heard Ra'an, Ava didn't have much for time to get to know her but now there was time sort of speaking. "Commander O'fee," Amila looked a bit surprised to see the CMO's twin sister on the Bridge. She had forgotten that Ava had come aboard. Ava gave a quick wave while listening to her next set of instructions.
"Look, we've got a whole fleet of Cardassian ships out there willing to obliterate our ships," Amila thought for a moment, five ships, three classes, and four science officers on the task. "Why don't you take the Escort vessels," Amila suggest. "We've been pouring a lot of energy into figuring out how to get past the shield frequencies of the fighters, but we shouldn't ignore these other three ships. See what you can figure out about them," she suggested.
"Thanks for the help," Amila nodded.
Ava replied. "There is no place I would rather be right now." From the very second Ava got on the ship, she had the feeling that this was where she was needed most. What do you say when the Prince of Death comes for you? Not today. Ava thought to herself it wasn't the fact she was ready to face what may come, she had a lot to protect.
Adding to her scans any damage that could have happened during any attack that happened prior to this, if they were to attack those same areas it would go further. Ava suddenly had an idea. "Lieutenant Ra'an the thought occurred to me about power." While she was talking Ava added to the scans power transfers from the three escort ships, a weapon that powerful would need a lot of power. In theory it would need a lot more power than one ship could generate, if they got rid of one then the weapon wouldn't pack as much of a punch. "What if we can prove that those Escorts are responsible for providing power to the Dreadnaught? If we were to naturalize one of them the weapon wouldn't be as powerful." If this proved to be true the Captain would be able to communicate it to the fleet.
