Keti didn't notice at first that Ava had entered the Bridge, then he heard her voice and it gave him some kind of comfort. After the probes were launched, Keti kept an eye on them. He wanted to make sure they were doing their jobs, if the sensors indicated the bait was taken Keti would know. Seeing where they were that kind of chatter would be expected, it wouldn't be the first time this happened. Bajorans fought them off once before, doing it again wouldn't be that much of a stretch.
"Checking on the status of our bait." Keti said while looking at the monitor, if they took the bait it wouldn't take him too long to know. He was growing more nervous about being targeted by the Cardassian fleet. "This is one time I would prefer not to stand out." Keti said quietly to himself. The shields would require a lot of power, they needed to figure out how to maximize the damage in certain areas. That would be up to Tactical to figure out, they could possibly provide some tools to use.
Difficult to punch a hole in the shields was an understatement, the only true way is to collapse the whole array there would be nothing left to regenerate. If there was some truth to what Ava said, then it would give them a better chance. "Sebastian how much of a stretch would it be if this works, to change the shield frequency even in the slightest. If it is changed their next shot would attack their own shields." He wasn't sure if that was going to work or not, at very least it was worth a thought.
