== NRC - Security Midshipman Jack Riscoe ==
Mid Riscoe was standing in his assigned position visually check in patients and basically keeping out of the medical teams way.
The doors open and Mid Riscoe expected to see another patient assisted by a crewman entering. Instead, through the door walked the very attractive Nurse Charlotte Dawes. Jack almost stood to attention and mentally noted not to open his mouth incase he shoved his foot in it. She handed her medical kit to Riscoe calmly stating "We're a little short-handed. Can you get pressure dressings on the worse of the wounds, try to keep people comfortable, and just do your best."
Mid Riscoe kept everything professional, replying "Yes, Nurse Dawes," as he received the med kit. He immediately walk off to find the pressure dressing and realising that he had no idea where the were keep. He ask one of the medical staff where to find them. The male nurse look at him as if he was stupid and said, "There's a heap at the nurses station near where you were standing, and if you run out of them there's more in the supply rooms in the treatment wards."
"Thank you, nurse." Riscoe replied and moved straight back to the triage nurse's station near the door. And there they were!
Immediately Jack pick up a hand full of pressure dressings and moved slowly from one person to another waiting in the triage area, asking how they were going, if they needed anything, if he couldn't see an obvious wounds, he would ask if they were breeding, and if they ansered yes, he would apply a pressure bandag where necessary. Some already had bandages, some didn't need them.
Arriving back at the door he began to watch for the most likely to need a pressure bandage. Now he would approach all wounded not immediately attended by a triage nurse, with reassuring words and ask politely those who seem to need a bandage, what damage they had suffered? Where necessary he would apply the pressure bandage. Then the triage nurse would take over with the official triage protocols.
