Just as Tom was about to have the line on an enemy, the other two hit hard on the port side in almost the exact same spot, The very hard hit caused the ship to rock a bit and he was forced to let the enemy get away briefly while he reacted and kept them alive. The three were actually coordinating better than he had thought and just as he was rethinking the fight, he was told to try and draw them toward the base.
"Alright, at least that's easier than trying to be on the offensive with three ships. Doing pure evasive and working our way to the base."
Tom did a roll that allowed him to then bank hard out of it and begin more evasive efforts to doge erratically as he punched the throttle to make them give chase.
Powl had missed the chance to fire on the one and now would have to hope he got a chance to fire from the rear arcs to hit any of those still giving chase.
