Lucy had to hold back tears of laughter when she saw how the bay had been decorated for the crew Christmas Party. There were a couple of zones where she knew she was capable of getting her self into trouble with the Captain. Whoever organised this deserved a drink or three and a kiss if they were open to that. The Insecure Male Zone looked fun. She certainly had an idea for her entry in the Obscene Snowman Zone. A quote from one of her favorite movies came to mind.
It doesn’t have to be a snowman.
People were slowly arriving adding life to the party. She saw Aeryn and Robyn with a redhead someone identified as Beka Sydesh. The body language between Aeryn and Beka filled Lucy with joy and a small amount of jealousy. She didn’t know how to express how happy she was for them. Dating the captain of the cheer squad had really ****ed with the status quo of the cliques at college in the most beautiful way. When she hadn’t been studying or supporting Jacklyn at some sports , they had spent some of the most magical moments together.
What? You thought you were the only one?
In her case Jacklyn had made the first move and she didn’t know where her affections fell in the time before. Zherru had been mutual attraction. Lucy hoped and longed to find the start of something special. The Idol Zone looked promising. Maybe it was a blessing that the pods were soundproofed except for when someone stood in front of one. She couldn’t play an instrument, but she loved belting out rock tunes. First port of call was The Still. A little something to get the night going.
A little Runaways, Joan Jett, Lita Ford, Cindy Lauper, Aerosmith, or Hole?
“One Baby Guinness shot, please.”
It was a simple cocktail shot. Half Irish cream and the other coffee liqueur. Done right it looked like a miniature glass of the famous stout. The trick with shots was not to let the liquid touch the sides. The other trick was keeping count so that you had a night worth remembering, She didn’t want to wake up in someone else’s bed and not remember how she got there. The shot was liquid magic going down. It was those few seconds before the feeling blossomed that Lucy really enjoyed. The question was what to do next?
