Miles found himself walking the corridors to the Cargo Bay, where the festivities had been assigned for the Artemis crew and guests. It was the holiday season, after all, and Miles thought it would be good to get out of the normal hum drum and enjoy himself alongside the rest of the crew. He was wearing a simple but well-looking suit combo. A dark red dress shirt, sleeves rolled up, with a white tie, forest green vest, and black slacks.
As he reached the Cargo Bay, he noted quite a few members meandering in, though it did appear the party was already in full swing when he had arrived. This didn't really bother him all that much, as there had not really been an assigned time or else one would be considered "late".
He did see that Captain Crawford had arrived just before he did, as she had made her way to the still in the center of the room to speak with Calleja, who had been appointed, possibly randomly, as host for this particular get together.
If Miles were honest with himself, he was not so secretly relieved that it had not been him that had been chosen for the task. He really didn't know what kind of theme he would go with, nor how he would be able to pull it off. As it was, he took the opportunity to look around at the different areas.
There were definitely a few that piqued his interest, including the "Insecure Male" and "Idol" zones. The "Mistle-Toe" zone gave him pause, as well as small pang of sadness.
With their differing schedules and obligations, there was uncertainty on whether or not Lina would be able to make it to the party, though Miles had sent the invite. There had been a recent influx in Cadets, as well as the Academy's own celebrations. Not to mention Lina's and Miles' family's on Earth that had slowly gotten to know one another thanks to the relationship the two had. Miles was happy his mother would have people to spend this time of year with.
He shook the betraying thoughts away. After all, Lina would say herself she would want Miles to enjoy himself. So, he continued his look around before making his way to the still to start with a light drink before deciding what activity he would get himself into.
