Miles took the praise Charles offered with little in response aside from a smile. Miles nodded to the question regarding the library as Lina responded that she had shown Miles the place. It had been nice, as Charles described, of being able to become lost while reading alongside Lina.
As Charles described lines of work and the difficulty of them as compared to running a university department, Miles couldn't help but disagree with something the older man said.
"I would have to disagree with you on that, sir," Miles responded. "Being responsible for something as vast and important as a university department I believe to be no small task. I could easily say I would have far more difficulty attempting those responsibilities than my current ones."
