Eun Ju wasn’t sure what the Captain was going to think about what she said but she was telling the truth. She had not come here for Damian, he hadn’t hurt the decision, but she would be foolish to transfer ships on a maybe. She also didn’t want the Captain to think less of her for coming here it was why she was being extremely honest. Captain Crawford seemed to, like many, respect honesty and Ju didn’t want to start her job here on a bad foot. If Crawford was going to give her a second chance she wanted to make the most use of it, for sure.
When the Captain spoke saying she was glad that Ju had been honest the Korean woman smiled. It was nice to know she had not been wrong about the Captain. However, the red headed woman admitted that should they develop into something more than a ‘maybe’ she would be removing Coleman from her chain of command so that no favoritism could come up as it had n the past.
Eun Ju gave a small nod. “I understand, Captain.”
Eun Ju wasn’t sure all of what would happen between herself and Damian but she figured that sometime after this meeting concluded she would inform him that she was here. It would be creepy to find his Quarters and ring his bell so she would have to let him know that she was around the ship and set up a meeting for them. Captain Crawford asking if Ju had any questions before she sent her off to her new playground causing Ju to give a soft smile.
“No Captain, I can’t think of anything at the moment but if something comes up I’ll let you or my Chief know. Thank you very much for this opportunity, I will do my best not to let you down.” She smiled softly. The Korean woman stood up from her chair waiting to be dismissed from the Captain so that she could head out for the Engineering section. Once the Captain gave her permission to leave Ju gave her another one of her smiles and turned to head off into her now, new ship.
Her heart was filled with hope and excitement, with the possibility of what could happen on a ship like this. She couldn’t wait to tell her family, her friends, and even Damian. Now that her invitation was solidified it was time to find her Quarters and get settled in! As the doors slid shut behind her Ju had a smile on her face and headed to find the Quartermaster to locate her Quarters and find out when her first shift would start.
