Though there was definitely movement from the announcement of Coleman's arrest, no one actively prevented the other Star Fleet Personnel from apprehending the First Officer. This was understandable, given the precariousness of everything. Miles noted that Calleja, uncharacteristically, did not challenge the arrest, but instead moved over to Han for what appeared to be comfort. The one to speak out against the arrest was the new Captain, stating policy and procedure.
Of course, that was countered by the Caitian Lieutenant Commander that he had been informed protocol had been followed, and he just needed to make the arrest. Miles prevented himself from rolling his eyes that the arresting Officer should have confirmed first, but took the higher ups word. If that wasn't evidence enough of the kind of politics in play...
It was Coleman, however, that bypassed all of it by going without a fuss. Once that was over with, and the detail had left with their prisoner, there was a momentary pause. It was Givens who broke the silence by informing everyone to return to their departments to continue preparing for launch and they would receive any further updates. She also ended with the order not to impede the Security detail from leaving with Commander Coleman before dismissing the gathered group.
As everyone made their exit, Miles made his way over to Harriman.
"I'll oversee any last minute prep," he informed her. "You try to get some rest. I've got you on early rotation at the Helm just before and for launch." Miles words were fairly neutral, and were not meant as negative. That had been the rotation prior to everything going on, and he did not see a need to change it. As it was, there was very little else that needed to be done for preparation in his Department aside from some last minute rotation changes he had already planned to make.
