On the one hand, Jaein was glad that no one had given in to their baser instincts and tried for the Caitian as the whole situation wrapped up. The entire room felt on edge, and he was just as glad to see the back of the security team as they appeared to be to go.
On the other hand, as he listened to the man's response to Givens, he really just wanted to punch him himself. While the words were respectful, the glib smugness just rubbed the Bajoran raw. He made a note to stop by the Temple quickly before his dinner with Mary Ellen. It'd be his last chance before they finished this mission, anyway, though he wasn't sure that the prylar would be there still by the time he got out of his next meeting.
As the door slid shut, Captain Givens broke the meeting up. "Alright, while I can appreciate a ship living up to it's reputation for chaos and drama, I think we can all agree that this is enough for now," she said. "Everyone return to your departments and continue to prepare for launch. Any further updates will be passed along by Captain Crawford...or Lieutenant Commander Morgan."
He stood with a nod and gathered his padds. He turned quickly towards Han, however, trying to catch the young ensign before she - and presumably the COS, though he still wasn't sure of the woman's intentions beyond comforting his subordinate - left the room. "Take your time in the morning," he told her gently, "and meet up with the Science team after launch; we'll get started on those probes then." He gave her a smile, and with a nod to the COS, he stepped away from the table.
He tried to catch the CSO's eye, and caught up with her in the hall outside the door. Giving the medical team a wide berth, he smiled at her. "I can't stay long," he said, "but let's meet up first thing after launch and we'll figure out these probes. I'm running to another meeting, but I've got the parts list and I'll check with the quartermaster to make sure we've got plenty in stores. Anything you need from me before the morning, Lieutenant?"

==If no questions, I'll consider this ETL for Jaein.==
