As she crossed Sickbay she overheard some of conversation from the being known as 'Cindy' She was aware that the woman was both more and less than she appeared but none of that affected her opinion of what was needed to treat the Ensign.

"Ensign I appreciate that you have concerns about your injuries but I can assure you as the most experienced Surgeon aboard; that I can not only prevent any complications but you should also expect to be back on active duties after only a few days. Do you have any questions before I have you sedated? I ask that you keep them brief as I still have a long night ahead."
Finishing her thought the petit officer added in a compassionate tine; "But for the record you are going to be fine."
