Greatful that the blast didn't hit the ship, the next one they wouldn't be so lucky. He was shocked that he would send anyone back there, on the other side of the same coin he would love to go. It was probably going to be  a mess, something that he was brought up around.

"Mr Coppola, move us out of blast radius of the ship but close enough to beam an away team over and back." Came the order from his Captain, in the worst case scenario calculating out the blast radius was going to be a little  complicated. The payload of torpedo capacity was un known, this could also lead to a Warp core breach.

"Aye Captain." He said as he started to plot in the course, the position was going to be importan. By moving the ship into a certain position and angle the shock can be absorbed easily. As the ship moved moved into position the ship it was now facing the Cardasian ship, the layers of protection was just superior. If he did it right the angle of the ship and deflector dish would absorb the impact, while the rest of the ship only feels a gentle shake.
