Maddie smiled as the next cadet approached and reported to her. "Cadet Addison Jade Shepherd reporting, Captain."
She nodded slightly, still maintaining the smile she held. For the most part, Maddie always tried to keep things light during this process. They didn't need any extra stress.
"Hello Cadet Shepherd," Maddie began. "Ready for your final assignment?" She glanced down and scanned through for the waiting holodeck for this cadet.
"You've been assigned to holodeck two for your final exam. Your instructor should be along shortly, so don't let me keep you."
As the cadet started to turn, Maddie added, "Good luck Cadet Shepherd. I look forward to seeing you at graduation."
