Thorn was trying to hear Cindy, but the noise and interference was beginning to make it harder for them to hear each other. Even with the technology of their suits, because there was still atmosphere in the area of the ship they were in, the sound was almost deafening. The shaking and vibration was making it hard to move as well.
Cindy said, "It looks to be clear in here. I think this will do it?"
Cindy quickly exited the room and moved toward the rest of the team.
Thorn moved toward Cindy, "What? What did you find?"
Cindy was excited and tried gesturing to the room. Then, out of frustration, she touched her helmet to Thorn's and added the vibration of their voices being transmitted directly through the solid surfaces, so Thorn could hear better, "That room looks like it is clear! Get everyone in there, NOW!!!"
Thorn began gesturing with large arm movements for everyone to get into the room Cindy indicated.
Cindy did her best to round up the others and push them toward the room if necessary, yelling, "Quickly! Everyone move to that room! I think they can get a signal in there!"
Thorn was also doing her best to herd the team into the room. She was shouting and pushing, her pulse quickening and she was worried that it had taken too long already. Her sense of time was distorted, a strange effect that adrenaline had on the human body and mind. She was trying so hard, yet time felt like it was moving so slow. Why couldn't they move faster?
Cindy would not allow argument and would insist that the group move as fast as possible and that she would be the last one to enter the room. She would not allow anyone to be left behind and would even carry them if needed.
People were stumbling and staggering in the chaos of the moment. The ship sounded like it was about to rip itself apart at any second.
Too much time had passed and Cindy knew it. If this didn't work, then they likely didn't have any time left to accomplish anything more. It had to be enough...it had to be...
== GM Input: do they manage to get everyone into the room in time? Is the ship able to get signal locks? Did people remember to activate their isolinear tags when they were given to them? Maybe we need remedial training on isolinear tags? Too late... ==
