Kalli and Carley had both had the same ideas about their drones. Kalli instructed herdrone, piloted by DeeDee, to continue to scan the strand device in relatively close proximity and transmitting all of the data to her and the ship. As much as Thorn was eager to herd everyone into the room, she was a little caught by surprise at being ushered in there herself. For once, she was being pushed around in such a situation. For a second, she felt out of place, as in a near death moment, she had come to almost expect to be in the maternal role, though she wasn't entirely sure why. It then struck her that Kurasa actually was a mother and that seemed to end the internal monologue on the subject, having explained all it needed to.
As the last of the team was moving into the room, Cindy followed, hoping desperately that they were not too late. As one last thing that she thought might help, she used her own scanning sensors and the fact that she was networked to the ship, trying to push her signal to do what little she could to aid in the team being transported off this death trap.
Cindy then grumbled, in a barely audible tone, "Coming here was a really bad idea..."
== We have lots of drone scanning going on, so that should be a plus. If there is anything worth detecting, we're doing everything we can to gather a look at it. ==
== Will they survive? Will the ship be too close? Was there even a door to close behind them? Were they all able to fit inside? Maybe it was a storage closet that just happened to be heavily shielded...or it was actually storing all the torpedo warheads and they are now regretting coming in there. What was that sound? Why does it look like a long dark tunnel with a bright light at the end? Mommy?...sorry, got distracted for a moment...um...GM Input...pretty please... ==
